Our History
Here at H P Westwood, we are a family run business with over 80 years of experience supplying traditional English butchers with Wholesale meat supplies. Thanks to our experience and our drive to provide the best customer experience, we have become a well known multi-species abattoir and cutting plant amongst wholesale meat and retail butchers. Based in Burntwood, Staffordshire, we are perfectly positioned to offer wholesale meat across the county, with our services regularly called upon anywhere from Birmingham to Burton on Trent.
Whether you’re looking for whole carcasses, and primal cuts, boxed meat or even offal, we can we provide you with top quality, locally sourced produce. In addition to this, we also offer a contract slaughter service that can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

We strongly believe that it is important to know where your food comes from. Thanks to our high standards we are incredibly proud that our abattoir and cutting plant has achieved a number of accreditations for Product Quality, Traceability, Food Safety Management Systems, and Animal Welfare. We are heavily committed to promoting animal welfare, protecting the environment throughout our activities where possible and we also pride ourselves on our traceability.
